A Successful CDN/Cisco Oil & Gas Event
Event was held on 27th February
2013 at Cisco Systems Offices, Knowledge Village, Dubai, UAE.
A group of senior executives of Oil & Gas companies
& their subcontractors was introduced to some of the latest products and
technologies that address the particular requirements of O&G companies.
Both CDN and Cisco are strong believers that technology and enhanced
connectivity can provide many benefits to oil field productions. Oil
& Gas industry is in the early phases of greatly expanding the number of
connected devices to networks. Over the next number of years, systems and
processes will become more integrated to a common infrastructure benefiting
operators with a greatly enhanced view of the production environment.
CDN also invited Yahsat to provide an overview on
their exciting and innovative range of new Ka-Band VSAT Services, and special
packaged offerings that have been designed specifically for the O&G Market.
Event was rounded-off with an Executive Briefing with
Cisco Gulf
Leadership Team along with senior executives from CDN and Yahsat.
